UPDATE: The symbol distribution adjustment to Top of PHLX Data Feed & PHLX Depth of Market Data Feed is being postponed until further notice and will maintain the symbol distribution in place today.

Effective Tuesday, November 10, 2020, Nasdaq PHLX will adjust the current symbol distribution on the Top of PHLX Options (TOPO) Data Feed and the PHLX Depth of Market Feed to the following (highlighted in yellow):

Current New

The changes are being made to distribute traffic more appropriately with the recent increase in market activity.

Please note: The exchange ensures that the timestamp is monotonically increasing for messages within an underlying but does not guarantee to be always monotonically increasing across different underlyings. With this redistribution, this nuance will be evident for the first time with channel 4 where the timestamp across underlying can come out of sequence. For example, on channel 4 you may get an order update for IBM with timestamp=13:18:12.351110320 followed by an order update for MSFT with timestamp=13:18:11.425110320.
